Hike #9: Sweet Sunday

Snuck in a sweet Sunday hike today with one of the finest humans I know. We drove up into the Davis Mountains to Madera Canyon, part of the Nature Conservancy holding. My friend Allison needed a small adventure, and, well, I needed some Allison time. The loop is 2.4 miles, but we climbed the big hill to a bench and skipped the loop. A view, a snack, and almost solving world peace. What else could one hope for on a spring Sunday? I love you, Allison.
